Based on a beautiful French antique, these heavy-gauge copper pitchers are lovely on the table or as a vase, adding old-world charm and timeless beauty to any space.
We had these stunning pitchers made exclusively for farmette by skilled metalsmiths in Moradabad, India, a city known for generations as a center for skilled handicrafts in copper and brass.
While pitchers like this are usually made using a mold, we asked the artisans to make them individually by hand, so each is formed with skill and one-of-a-kind.
Each carries slight character marks that show it was truly handmade, and a subtle sawtooth star emblem at the base of the handle ads the final finishing touch.
We left them unlacquered, so you can choose if you'd like to polish yours to keep its shine, or let it develop that beautiful antique patina that comes with long and loving use.
Made from heavy-gauge 100% copper sheets. Not including handle, pitcher is approximately 11.75in tall by 5in wide. Unlacquered, it can be polished to maintain its shine or left to develop a gorgeous patina over time. Handmade in India. Wash and dry gently by hand.
Emily and Lydia (who pack up our paper goods) work together with our artisan shop ladies, Hannah and Rhea, to carefully pack up your order and ship it via the method you choose at check out. Our shipping timeline is one to three business days, and almost all orders will ship within one business day!
