There’s a certain humbling safety that comes when your vulnerability is met with love, which inspired this phrase: “thank you for seeing me, knowing me and loving me still”.
Duck egg blue handmade paper with black letterpress ink.
Handmade paper card with four full deckled edges, hand folded with inside blank. Front is letterpress printed; back is letterpress printed with a small note including information about the natural dyes used to color each unique piece of paper.
Comes with an acru A2 envelope and a small card matte printed with photos and a little information about our process.
Card reads "thank you for seeing me knowing me and loving me still".
We create our paper goods with great care and love in our studio in Palo Cedro, California! Loren writes and creates each design, often using sketching and handwriting, and then pairs it with the perfect paper color. Our papermakers transform natural fibers into beautiful, plant-dyed, deckle-edged sheets, and our press team prints them one-at-a-time on our antique letterpresses and packages them up for you! From fiber to finished card
The whole process
No.1 · Fiber
Cotton and abaca fiber, beaten into pulp in a Hollander beater.
No.2 · Pulled by hand
Dyed with plant powders, then pulled sheet by sheet with a mould and deckle.
No.3 · Pressed + dried
Pressed, hung to dry, and peeled and folded by hand.
No.4 · Letterpress
Printed one at a time on our antique letterpresses.
